Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Epidemiology or alternative appropriate discipline.
• Candidates for the senior position will ordinarily have completed a minimum of five years at the Research Scientist, Engineer, or Scholar rank (or will have equivalent experience).
• Ability to support the education physician faculty and medical trainees as collaborative peers in study design, conduct of research data analyses, and associated academic presentation and publication of research methods.
• Experience in supervising the work of data analysts available to support the conduct of study analyses while conducting analysis directly when needed.
• Proficiency in statistical languages such as Python, R, SAS, SPSS, STATA.
• Excellent written and oral skills with experience writing medical research papers.
• Ability to work independently and part of the department’s internal data sciences team.
• Strong communication skills, including ability to prepare materials for and clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences and client groups.
